Returns & Refunds
Delivery
AdvaCare offers 2 (two) methods of delivery of goods to you. You may elect delivery via:
1.1. courier; or
1.2. self-collection at 6 Traka Street, Stikland Industrial, Cape Town, 7530
We provide free delivery for purchases with an order value of R500 (including VAT) or more. For purchases less than R500 (including VAT) a delivery fee of R65 (including VAT) will be charged.
Deliveries of orders into high-risk areas, as specified by our couriers, may attract a surcharge. Deliveries into rural areas require confirmation from our Couriers before any shipment is dispatched for delivery. You will be notified by orders@advacare.co.za of the amount if a surcharge is applicable, or if we are unable to deliver to the address provided. You may then, within 7 (seven) days of receiving such notification elect whether or not to cancel your
order. If you elect to cancel your order, we will reimburse you for the total order purchase price.
Deliveries within the Republic of South Africa will take 2 – 5 days (depending on the location) from the date the order payment is reflected in AdvaCare’s bank account.
If you would like us to courier our products outside South Africa i.e: Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia & Botswana and Zimbabwe, please contact us at orders@advacare.co.za and provide us with the delivery address. We will respond with a delivery quote and ordering process.
In the event that some of the ordered products are out of stock, we are entitled to make partial deliveries at our expense, insofar as this is reasonable for the customer.
Should the delivery of the goods fail despite two attempts to deliver, we are entitled to withdraw from the contract. Any payments made will be reimbursed to the customer, after the deduction of the delivery fee. AdvaCare is not responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of a product after it has delivered the product to the physical address nominated by you.
Right to Cancel
You are entitled to cancel/return your order, within 7 days of the goods being delivered to you. In such an event:
- You must inform us at orders@advacare.co.za within 7 days of receiving the goods of your intention to cancel the order.
- You undertake to return the goods in their original packaging, unassembled, unused, in their original condition and in a sellable condition to one of the following addresses:
- By courier: 6 Traka Street, Stikland Industrial, Cape Town, 7530;
By post: Postnet Suite 265, Private Bag X13, Brackenfell, 7561, South Africa - To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible, you are responsible for the following when returning your products
- Package your products safely and securely for protection during transit;
- Clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel; and
- Include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product.
You will receive a full refund of the purchase price within 7 days of receiving the returned parcel less shipping fees.
As we try to process orders immediately, preventing an order from being dispatched may not always be possible. If your order has already been dispatched, you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Returns
Returns are subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, No 68 of 2008. If you wish to return or exchange an item, please call +27 86 101 8885 or email orders@advacare.co.za with your name and order number.
All returns are subject to the following conditions:
- We will accept returns according to the above Right to Cancel Policy;
- Proof of purchase from AdvaCare PTY (Ltd) needs to be provided;
- Products must be in their original condition, unassembled, unused, and returned in their ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
- All returns are subject to pre-approval on a case-by-case basis.
- Replacements can only be made once we have determined a manufacturer defect or damage.
Any approved returns will be shipped via our couriers free of charge. We will take responsibility for booking the collection with our couriers. Replacements can only be made once we have determined that there was a manufacturer defect or damage.
To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible, you are responsible for the following when returning your products
- Package your products safely and securely for protection during transit;
- Clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel; and
- Include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product.
- Products may not be returned unless it is in accordance with the Right to Cancel Policy, the product is defective or damaged or the product you have received is not the same as the one you ordered.
- AdvaCare will not accept any returns of any products of which the packaging has been removed, opened or tampered with, and products of a personal nature due to hygiene and sanitary consideration for child feeding products and accessories.
- Please report any shortages or damages within 24 hours of receiving your merchandise in writing via email. Please explain the problem or defect and include any photographs if possible so that we may best assist you.
- In the unlikely event that you have a problem with a product, please contact us.
- A refund will be made for returns of damaged or defective goods determined to be valid returns.
- A product is not considered to be defective, damaged or unsuitable when: There is no
- Manufacturing fault or defect in the product;
- Faults resulting from normal wear and tear occur;
- Misuse or abuse of a product or use in a way in which it was not intended to be used;
- Inability to use the product correctly. Please refer to the packaging or contact AdvaCare PTY (Ltd) for assistance.
No provision stated in these terms regarding cancellation and returns policy will affect or be interpreted to deny the customer any of his unalterable statutory rights.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of your refund’s approval or rejection.
If the return is approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
