How long does sterilisation take?
The sterilization cycle is 6-minutes, followed by a 3-minute cooling cycle and then it automatically shuts down. There’s no need to watch or time it yourself — once the cycle ends, the steriliser switches off on its own, so you can start it and step away to do everything else that needs doing.
How many bottles and accessories fit?
It sterilises up to 6 bottles at once (125–300 ml, both standard and wide-neck), plus teats, dummies, breast pump parts, and baby toothbrushes. That’s usually a full day’s worth of bottles in a single cycle, so you’re not running it over and over.
Does it fit wide-neck bottles?
Yes, it’s designed to fit both narrow and wide-neck bottles from 125–300 ml, across all major brands. The interior racks adjust to hold different bottle shapes securely, so you can use it with the bottles you already have rather than buying new ones.
Is it safe to use?
Yes. The steriliser is made from BPA-free, heat-resistant plastic, has an automatic shut-off feature that ends every cycle, and comes with tongs so you can lift out hot items without touching them. Steam sterilising is a trusted, chemical-free method used in homes and hospitals to keep baby’s feeding equipment hygienic.
Do I need to add chemicals or cleaning agents?
No, this steriliser uses natural steam only. Never add chemicals, sterilising tablets, or cleaning agents. All you add is a small measured amount of ordinary tap water, and the steam does the rest, so there’s nothing extra to buy and nothing harsh going near baby’s bottles.
Can I sterilise pump parts and dummies too?
Yes, alongside bottles it works for dummies, teats, breast pump parts, and even baby toothbrushes. Anything that feeds or comes into contact with your baby and is steam-safe can be sterilised together in the same cycle, which saves time and keeps everything hygienic in one go..
Does it use a lot of electricity?
No. Because the sterilising cycle is only 6 minutes long, it’s very energy efficient — power use is comparable to briefly boiling a kettle. It only draws power during that short cycle and then shuts off automatically, so it isn’t left running or drawing electricity in the background.
Will it leak or leave water inside?
Some condensation inside is completely normal after a cycle — that’s the steam settling as it cools. The sealed base is designed to prevent leaking, and opening the lid gradually once it has cooled lets the remaining steam escape safely. Wiping the base dry between uses keeps it fresh and ready.
